Contract Laptop Deployment Technician (Entry-Level)

This is a short-term contract role onsite in Bloomington, IL with the possibility of extensions. Duties Documenting existing and new hardware Removing old equipment and installing new monitors Performing basic cable management and functionality testing Logging all relevant details Provide technical assistance and support for incoming queries and issues related to computer systems, software, and hardware. Respond to queries either in person, over the phone, via ticketing system, via email Maintain daily performance of computer systems. Install, modify, and repair computer hardware and software. Resolve technical problems with Local Area Networks (LAN), Wide Area Networks (WAN), and other systems. Follow up with customers to ensure full resolution of issues. Other Duties as assigned Requirements 3 years of proven experience as a Help Desk Level II or similar role. Proficiency in TCP/IP networking protocols and services. Ability to communicate technical information to non-technical personnel. Experience in software troubleshooting including Jira, ServiceNow, etc. Familiarity with mobile devices and operating systems. Knowledge of Active Directory, Linux, and other relevant technologies. Strong analytical skills to identify and solve complex technical issues. Education -2 year degree or certificate in IT related field of study is strongly preferred #ILL2
