Job Description
Job Summary:
The Computer Support Associate I provides onsite Tier 2 deskside support to ensure smooth day-to-day operations of the computing environment. This role involves a combination of technical troubleshooting and administrative support, following established procedures to resolve standard issues efficiently.Key Responsibilities:
Provide onsite desktop support including hardware, software, and peripheral troubleshooting Manage and support printers (toner replacement, maintenance, issue resolution) Perform computer imaging, deployments, and asset lifecycle management Resolve user issues through ServiceNow ticket queues Act as "smart hands" support for server and network teams Maintain and update asset records in Asset Center Follow Knowledge Base (KB) articles for troubleshooting and issue resolution Create and maintain documentation such as: Contact lists Process logs Incident reports Inventory and service records Handle inventory tracking, equipment maintenance scheduling, and supply ordering Support basic facilities-related requests Identify process issues and resolve them using standard procedures or escalate when needed Communicate effectively via email and with internal/external stakeholdersRequired Skills & Qualifications:
Basic knowledge of computer hardware, software, and networking fundamentals Familiarity with Microsoft Office and general internet/intranet tools Understanding of computer security policies and concepts Ability to follow documented processes and troubleshooting guides Strong communication and organizational skillsPreferred Qualifications:
1+ year of IT support experience (Deskside / Helpdesk / Technical Support) Experience with ServiceNow or similar ticketing tools Exposure to Agile methodologies Recent graduates with relevant technical knowledge are encouraged to apply #IND2 LG R2
Pay:
$23.00 - $24.00 per hourBenefits:
