Seasonal (July through December) Position Overview Mechdyne is seeking Seasonal Level 1 IT Help Desk Agents to support a key client during a critical high-demand period. This role is ideal for individuals who enjoy problem-solving, delivering excellent customer service, and building foundational IT support experience in a fast-paced environment. This seasonal position will run from July through December , aligning with a significant ramp-up period for one of our major clients. Key Responsibilities Provide first-level technical support via phone, email, and ticketing systems Troubleshoot basic hardware, software, and network issues Log, track, and resolve incidents and service requests in a timely manner Escalate complex issues to higher-level support teams as needed Deliver excellent customer service with clear communication and professionalism Follow established processes, documentation, and service-level agreements (SLAs) Assist with account setup, password resets, and system access requests Qualifications Basic understanding of IT concepts (hardware, software, networking) Strong customer service and communication skills Ability to troubleshoot issues and think critically Comfortable working in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment Dependable with strong attention to detail Previous help desk or customer-facing experience is a plus, but not required Work Environment Requirements 100% onsite role•candidates must be able to work from either: Naperville, Illinois or Marshalltown, Iowa Ability to work the scheduled shift: 7:00 AM•3:30 PM CT Why Join Mechdyne?
