$17•$20/hour
Schedule:
Monday•Friday (Day or Evening Shift, must be flexible enough to cover either) Position Overview Mechdyne is seeking a motivated and customer-focused Temporary Level 1 IT Help Desk Agent to join our team. This full-time, contract role will run from July through December , with the opportunity for permanent conversion based on performance and business needs. In this position, you'll serve as the first point of contact for technical support, assisting users with a wide range of IT-related issues while delivering exceptional customer service. Key Responsibilities Provide first-level technical support via phone, email, and ticketing systems Troubleshoot and resolve basic hardware, software, and network issues Log, track, and manage incidents and service requests Escalate complex issues to higher-level support teams as needed Follow standard operating procedures and maintain accurate documentation Deliver a positive and professional customer experience with every interaction Schedule & Availability This role requires flexibility to support one of two shifts: Shift Option 1: 7:00 AM•3:00 PM CT Shift Option 2: 2:00 PM•10:30 PM CT Qualifications Strong communication and customer service skills Basic knowledge of: Windows operating systems Microsoft Office applications Ability to troubleshoot technical issues in a fast-paced environment Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail Previous help desk or customer support experience is a plus Work Environment This is an in-office position that can be based in either: Marshalltown, Iowa Naperville, Illinois Collaborative team environment with hands-on training and support Why Join Mechdyne? Salary Range:
