Hexaware Technologies Key Responsibilities:
Image, configure, deploy, and maintain desktop and laptop computers. Install, upgrade, and support Windows operating systems and standard business applications. Troubleshoot and resolve hardware issues involving desktops, laptops, monitors, docking stations, and peripherals. Diagnose and resolve software-related issues, including operating system errors, application failures, and connectivity problems. Configure, install, and troubleshoot network and local printers. Provide technical support to end users via phone, email, remote support tools, and in-person assistance. Manage user accounts, passwords, and permissions in Active Directory and Microsoft 365 environments. Install and configure hardware upgrades and replacement components as needed. Document support activities, incidents, and resolutions in the ticketing system. Escalate complex technical issues to appropriate teams when necessary. Maintain inventory of IT assets, including computers, monitors, printers, and accessories. Follow established IT policies, procedures, and security standards.
Required Qualifications:
2+ years of desktop support, help desk, or technical support experience. Experience imaging and deploying computers using standard imaging tools and processes. Strong knowledge of Windows operating systems and Microsoft Office applications. Experience troubleshooting desktops, laptop, hardware, and software issues. Experience configuring and supporting printers, scanners, and related peripherals. Basic understanding of networking concepts, including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and wireless connectivity. Experience with Active Directory user administration. Strong communication and customer service skills. Ability to prioritize multiple support requests and meet service-level expectations.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with Microsoft 365 administration. Familiarity with endpoint management tools such as Microsoft Intune, SCCM, or similar platforms. CompTIA A+, Network+, or other relevant certifications. Experience working in an enterprise IT environment.
Physical Requirements:
Ability to lift and move computer equipment up to 50 pounds. Ability to walk, bend, and perform workstation setups as needed.
