Job Description

MTK Technologies, a leading Managed Service Provider (MSP) in Savoy, Illinois, is seeking a dedicated IT Help Desk Technician / Entry-Level System/Network Administrator to join our in-office team. If you are passionate about technology, problem-solving, and delivering top-notch customer service, we'd love to hear from you!
Key Responsibilities:
Reset login passwords and manage user access. Set up and troubleshoot Office 365 applications and services. Configure new workstations and install essential software. Diagnose and resolve basic software and hardware issues. Manage whitelisting/blacklisting for various security services.
Required Skills & Experience:
Proficiency in Windows operating systems and basic PC troubleshooting. Understanding of fundamental networking concepts. Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail. Excellent communication skills with the ability to interact professionally with clients. Ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Preferred Experience (a plus, but not required): Familiarity with Windows Server 2016, 2019, and 2022. Knowledge of Hyper-V, firewall/router fundamentals, and general backup systems. Experience with advanced networking concepts.
Additional Requirements:
A valid driver's license and a reliable vehicle. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. as needed.
Compensation & Benefits:
Starting wage: $21 per hour, up to $26 (based on experience and education).
