Job Description:
Nidec Mobility America Corporation(NMOA) is looking for an energetic and focused part-time Administrator. A little about Nidec Mobility.. We are the North America headquarters for Nidec Mobility America (locations in Illinois, Michigan, Ohio, Canada, Mexico) and a leading Automotive Electronics Designer and manufacturer of sophisticated electronic sensing and control technology / components. We control the most discrete functions within an automobile, including: power system components, complex user interfaces, seat and power window switches, and instrument panel controls, electronic sensing/radar). Purpose of position Our Nidec Mobility Team (St. Charles, IL) has an immediate need for a part-time (24 hours a week)Quality Systems Administrative Support team member to work in a 'job share' scenario.
Please Note:
The Day / Hours for this Quality Systems Administrative support role will be 8 Hours each day for Tu, Th & Fr-or- Five(5) Hour Days, Mo,Tu,We,Th & Fr. This is Not a temporary role. We expect this to be a long-term job share regular employment opportunity. In this key role, you would be responsible for implementation and maintenance of the Test Laboratory's
ISO/IEC 17025
Quality Management System within our technical environment. You will work with laboratory team members to maintain management system documents and processes. Additionally, you will share in leading continuous improvement activities to ensure system compliance and effectiveness. This role requires competence and skill to perform work independently with thoroughness and efficiency while maintaining a high level of overall quality. You will receive On-The-Job Training to build your skills and knowledge to be successful in learning this role. Essential Responsibilities Examples of specific responsibilities and tasks include, but are not limited to: Develop procedures, work instructions, templates and various forms/records to ensure processes are effective meeting quality standard requirements. Collaborate with laboratory personnel to create and revise documents as needed to maintain system compliance and effectiveness. Coordinate and lead the implementation of improvements. Train personnel on the Management System and communicate changes.
Lead / Manage
internal audit process. Manage information and requirements in the
ISO/IEC 17025
Registrar Portal. Perform periodic audits of testing process for documentation and records thoroughness. Review management system documents for relevancy and suitability. Maintain customer specific requirements. Maintain personnel training records and Competence Matrix. Maintain the corrective action database. Monitor performance metrics/milestones and create reports for management. Support company accreditation activities as it pertains to the laboratory.
Experience:
1+ years
Education:
Associate's or 2 Year Degree Knowledge/Skills/Abilities Technical aptitude in order to support a Test Laboratory environment High proficiency with Word / Excel / Point and ability to other computer applications. Excellent organizational skills and interpersonal skills to work effectively with others and as part of a team. Ability to manage workload to meet or exceed deadlines. Detail oriented and effective follow-up skills. Excellent written and oral communication. Effective presentation skills.
