Job Summary The Hybrid IT Support & Security Systems Specialist serves a dual purpose: ensuring BCS's day-to-day internal IT operations run seamlessly and deploying advanced security solutions for our clients. You will manage internal workstations, networking, and support for the BCS team, while receiving specialized training to program and install enterprise-grade access control and surveillance systems. Key Responsibilities Internal IT Operations (BCS Support):

System Administration:

Manage day-to-day IT requirements for the BCS office, including workstation setup, software troubleshooting, and peripheral support.

Network Maintenance:

Ensure stable connectivity and performance of internal servers, Wi-Fi networks, and VPNs.

Onboarding:

Assist in the technical setup for new hires, ensuring all hardware and software tools are configured correctly. Security & Integration (Client-Facing):

Advanced Installation:

Program, install, and troubleshoot IP-based surveillance, access control, and security systems at client sites.

IT-Security Convergence:

Leverage your networking knowledge to integrate security hardware into client LAN/WAN environments.

Technical Training:

Participate in ongoing training to master platforms such as Hanwha, DMP, S2, and Galaxy.

Client Consultation:

Provide technical support and training to clients on how to manage their newly installed systems.

Documentation:

Maintain precise records of internal IT assets and client-site system configurations.

Qualifications IT Core:

2+ years of experience in IT support, help desk, or junior network administration.

Technical Aptitude:

Strong understanding of TCP/IP networking, VLANs, and hardware troubleshooting.

Field Experience:

Previous experience in low-voltage cabling, security, or electronics is a significant plus, but we are willing to train the right IT-centric candidate.

Problem Solving:

A relentless drive to "find the fix" for complex technical glitches.

Communication:

Ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical staff and clients clearly.

Requirements:

Valid driver's license, ability to travel locally (with occasional overnight stays), and US citizenship.

Physical:

Ability to lift up to 75 pounds and work comfortably on ladders or in confined spaces when on-site. Certifications CompTIA A+, Network+, or Security+ Experience with Hanwha, DMP, Speco, S2, or Galaxy systems (or a desire to earn these certifications).
