This position focuses on phone and email troubleshooting, warranty claim review, service diagnostics, and dealer support , rather than daily hands-on equipment repair. Candidates must have a mechanical background in outdoor power equipment and be comfortable applying that knowledge in an office environment . Key Responsibilities Provide technical service support to dealers via phone and email Diagnose mechanical and product issues using service manuals and documentation Review, process, and resolve warranty claims Assist dealers with rejected or incomplete warranty submissions Communicate repair procedures, diagnostics, and best practices remotely Maintain accurate service and warranty records Assist with service training and documentation Perform occasional service evaluations or updates as needed Required Experience & Skills Mechanical experience with outdoor power equipment (lawn mowers, handheld equipment, small engines, power equipment) Ability to troubleshoot and diagnose mechanical issues Experience explaining technical issues over the phone or by email Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Word Strong documentation and organizational skills Comfortable working in an office setting Valid driver's license Ability to pass pre-employment drug screening Preferred Background Former service technician, lead tech, shop foreman, or warranty administrator Experience with dealer networks, manufacturers, or distributors Warranty processing, claims review, or technical support experience Familiarity with service manuals, diagnostic procedures, and technical bulletins
