Controller Job Summary:
The Desktop Support Analyst provides technical assistance to end users by troubleshooting and resolving hardware, software, and network issues. This role ensures smooth day-to-day IT operations and delivers excellent customer service.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide technical support for desktops, laptops, printers, and mobile devices Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and network connectivity issues Install, configure, and maintain operating systems (Windows, macOS, etc.) and applications Respond to help desk calls and in-person requests in a timely manner Set up and deploy new equipment Manage user accounts, permissions, and access (Office 365, M1 ERP, etc) Perform routine maintenance, updates, and patches Assist with IT projects such as system upgrades and migrations Manage relationship and activities of outsourced IT company Ensure compliance with security policies and best practices
Requirements:
Qualifications:
Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or related field (or equivalent experience) 1-3 years of experience in desktop or technical support Strong knowledge of Windows and/or macOS operating systems Familiarity with Microsoft Office 365 and common business applications Basic understanding of networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP) Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
