Job Description
ABOUT THE ROLE
We move freight across the country — but none of it moves without the people keeping our systems running. That's where you come in. As our IT/Admin Specialist, you'll be the go-to for everything from squashing a stubborn tech gremlin to making sure our office actually functions like a well-oiled machine. Half tech wizard, half office superhero. No cape required (but not discouraged).WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING
Manage and support hardware, software, and network infrastructure — keeping everything humming so the team can do their best work Be the first call for helpdesk tickets — diagnosing and resolving issues fast, and with a smile Manage user accounts, access permissions, and security policies — you're the bouncer and the host Handle office administration duties — vendor coordination, supply ordering, onboarding logistics, and keeping the space running smoothly Support cloud tools and SaaS platforms used across the business (Microsoft 365, Google Workspace, etc.) QualificationsWHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
2+ years of IT support or systems administration experience Solid foundation in Windows and/or Mac environments, networking basics, and common cloud tools A calm head when things go sideways (and sometimes they will — it's tech) Strong communication skills — you can explain why the printer is broken without making anyone feel bad about it Organized and self-directed — you don't need someone to tell you the supply cabinet is empty Bonus points: Experience in logistics or a fast-moving industry, or any relevant certifications (CompTIA A+, Network+, Microsoft, etc.) Additional Information We are an equal opportunity employer and all qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, national origin, disability status, protected veteran status, or any other characteristic protected by law.Similar remote jobs
