2-3+ years Desktop / Deskside Support experience Strong knowledge of Windows OS, laptops, desktops, and printers Microsoft 365 (Office Suite) support and troubleshooting Active Directory (user accounts, password resets, access management) Experience with software troubleshooting and enterprise applications Imaging and deployment tools (SCCM preferred) Strong customer service and end-user support skills Ability to work in plant/factory environment Valid Driver's License (occasional site-to-site travel) Ability to lift up to 50 lbs (hardware handling)
POSITION OVERVIEW
We are seeking a Desktop Support III professional to provide on-site technical support in a manufacturing environment. This role involves hands-on troubleshooting of desktops, laptops, printers, and enterprise software to ensure smooth daily operations for end users. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in deskside support, Windows environments, Microsoft 365, and Active Directory, along with excellent customer service skills and the ability to work directly with end users in a fast-paced industrial setting.
ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Provide on-site deskside support for end users Troubleshoot hardware, software, and network-related issues Install, configure, and maintain desktops, laptops, and printers Support Microsoft 365 applications and Windows OS environments Perform Active Directory tasks (password resets, account unlocks, access updates) Assist with software installations, updates, and issue resolution Use ticketing systems to document and track incidents Support imaging, deployment, and hardware refresh activities Collaborate with IT teams to resolve escalated issues Ensure minimal downtime and strong end-user satisfaction
