Job Description

Overview We are seeking a dedicated and tech-savvy Manufacturing IT Support Technician to join our team in Hammond, IN. In this role, you will play a crucial part in ensuring the smooth operation of our manufacturing IT systems. You will be the go-to person for troubleshooting, maintaining, and enhancing our technology infrastructure, all while working in a dynamic and collaborative environment. Responsibilities Provide technical support for manufacturing IT systems, including hardware and software troubleshooting. Monitor and maintain network performance to ensure optimal operation of manufacturing processes. Assist in the installation and configuration of new IT equipment and software. Collaborate with manufacturing teams to identify and resolve IT-related issues promptly. Document and maintain records of IT support requests and resolutions. Train staff on new technologies and best practices for IT usage in the manufacturing environment. Participate in ongoing IT projects to improve system efficiency and productivity. Qualifications Associate's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field preferred. Proven experience in IT support, preferably in a manufacturing setting. Strong knowledge of computer systems, networks, and troubleshooting techniques. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. Effective communication skills, both verbal and written. Familiarity with manufacturing software and systems is a plus.
