In this role, you will be the frontline hero for resolving technical issues, ensuring seamless computer management, and maintaining the health of our IT infrastructure. Your energetic approach and customer-focused attitude will help empower users across the organization, enabling them to work efficiently and confidently. Duties Provide technical support to end-users for hardware, software, and network issues across multiple operating systems including Windows and macOS. Troubleshoot and resolve software problems related to Microsoft Office applications, operating systems, and specialized enterprise software. Manage computer hardware assets, including desktops, laptops, peripherals, and mobile devices, ensuring proper setup, configuration, and maintenance. Assist with computer networking tasks such as LAN (Local Area Network) setup, VPN (Virtual Private Network) access, firewall configurations, and connectivity troubleshooting. Utilize help desk tools like ServiceNow, Jira, BMC Remedy, or similar platforms to document incidents, track resolutions, and escalate issues when necessary. Support IT infrastructure components by performing routine checks on servers and network equipment to ensure optimal performance. Communicate clearly with users at all levels to explain technical solutions in an accessible manner while maintaining a positive attitude. Requirements Proven experience providing IT support or desktop support in a fast-paced environment. Strong knowledge of operating systems including Windows and macOS; familiarity with Linux is a plus. Hands-on experience with computer hardware management and troubleshooting hardware failures. Proficiency in software troubleshooting for common applications such as Microsoft Office suite. Understanding of computer networking concepts including LAN/WAN configurations, VPN setup, firewall management, and network security best practices. Familiarity with help desk ticketing systems like ServiceNow or Jira; BMC Remedy experience is advantageous. Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain technical issues clearly to non-technical users. Ability to prioritize tasks effectively while maintaining attention to detail under pressure. A proactive mindset with a passion for learning new technologies and supporting end-users efficiently.
