Job Description

Full-Time, Monday - Friday 8AM - 5PM. Rotating On-Call (1/3) The IT Technician will be responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and optimizing the organization's information technology systems, including CPSI and Athena healthcare systems. Additionally, this role will involve hardware and software installation, diagnostics, server and network administration, and exceptional customer service. The IT Technician will report to the IT Director and will collaborate with other IT team members to support the organization's technological needs.
Responsibilities and Duties:
  • Install, configure, and maintain computer systems, servers, and network devices.
  • Diagnose and resolve basic technical issues promptly.
  • Collaborate with the IT Director and team to execute IT projects and assignments.
  • Provide excellent customer service to internal staff members, addressing their technical inquiries and issues professionally and efficiently.
  • Solicit feedback from customers regarding their computer usage experience.
  • Provide support for telephone systems.
  • Perform routine hardware and software maintenance, updates, and patches.
  • Utilize diagnostic programs to resolve issues.
  • Monitor network performance and troubleshoot connectivity issues.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of IT systems, configurations, and procedures.
  • Perform additional tasks and assignments as directed by the IT Director to meet the organization's IT needs.
Qualifications:
    Education:
    Preferably possess an IT degree.
      Experience:
      Prior experience in a similar role within a comparable facility is advantageous.
      • Intermediate knowledge of hardware and software troubleshooting and maintenance.
      • Basic knowledge of server and network administration.
      • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to diagnose and resolve basic technical issues.
      • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to provide top-notch customer service.
      • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
      • Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
      • Relevant IT certifications would be a plus.
