Key Responsibilities for Desktop Support Technician Perform break-fix repairs on Dell laptops and desktops Replace hardware components including: Motherboards LCD screens Hard drives Keyboards PC peripherals Complete whole-unit swaps when necessary Troubleshoot and diagnose hardware/software issues Required Qualifications for Desktop Support Technician 1+ years of hands-on laptop/desktop break-fix experience Experience diagnosing Dell laptops and PCs Experience replacing motherboards and LCD screens Basic knowledge of Microsoft applications and operating systems Strong troubleshooting and customer service skills
