IT SPECIALIST
(CUSTSPT), GS-2210-09/11 , you will administer classified and unclassified local area network (LAN) clients, monitors ongoing operion of network systems to ensure hardware and software functions, and meets operional standards. Identifies and resolves complex network reled problems occurring within the assigned area of responsibility. Respond to customer requests for assistance, ensuring trouble reports are handled expeditiously. Troubleshoot hardware, software, and LAN/Client opering system problems. Evalue workstions for approprie type of hardware and software to ensure system interoperability. Manage the assigned IT/communicions environment with privileged access the network level for the Wing, Geographically Separed Units (GSU), and Tenants. Plan, coordine, install, and continuously analyze system design, hardware and software. Develops, recommends, and installs solutions and upgrades to ensure availability, integrity, efficiency, and reliability of all components of the assigned system. Provide Informion Assurance systems support for all disciplines, ensuring the rigorous applicion of informion security/informion assurance policies, principles, and practices in the delivery of network services. Work Schedule:
This position works on a 5/4/9 compressed work schedule th consists of a 5-day workweek, then a 4-day workweek (eight 9-hour days and one 8-hour day and an SDO, Scheduled Day Off) to complete the 80-hour pay period. Work schedule is subject to change based on mission requirements.

This is an excepted service position th requires membership in a compible military assignment in the employing ste's Nional Guard. required prior to the effective de of placement. Selectee required to wear the military uniform. Acceptance of an excepted service position constitutes concurrence with these requirements as a condition of employment. Experience in least one programming language.
