Job Description

Your tasks We are seeking a skilled Hitachi VRF Ductless Mini Technical Support Specialist to join our team in Irving, United States. In this role, you will provide expert technical support for Hitachi Variable Refrigerant Flow (VRF), and Mini Splits systems ensuring optimal performance and customer satisfaction. Deliver high-quality technical support for Hitachi VRF systems via phone, email, and remote diagnostics Troubleshoot complex HVAC issues and provide effective solutions to customers and field technicians Analyze system performance data and recommend improvements for energy efficiency and system longevity Create and maintain detailed technical documentation, including troubleshooting guides and best practices Collaborate with the engineering team to address recurring issues and contribute to product improvements Stay up-to-date with the latest developments in VRF technology and HVAC industry trends Assist in the development of technical content for customer-facing materials and knowledge bases Participate in on-call rotations to provide support for critical customer issues Your profile 5+ years of experience in HVAC technical support, with a strong preference for VRF system experience In-depth knowledge of Hitachi VRF systems and their components EPA certification required; Hitachi VRF certification strongly preferred Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail Proficiency in using HVAC diagnostic tools and software Strong technical writing skills for creating clear and concise documentation Exceptional customer service and communication skills, both verbal and written Ability to explain complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences Experience with building automation and controls systems Knowledge of energy efficiency principles in HVAC applications Willingness to work flexible hours and participate in on-call rotations as needed Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
