Job Description

Overview The IT Support Engineer I provides first-line technical support for Camping World's employees across retail, dealerships, call centers, distribution centers, and corporate offices. This entry-level role focuses on incident triage, basic troubleshooting, and exceptional customer service through the ServiceDesk. The engineer works under direct supervision, ensuring quick and accurate resolution of common IT issues while maintaining a professional, customer-centric approach.
What You'll Do:
Serve as the first point of contact for IT issues in person or via phone, chat, or ticketing system. Diagnose and resolve basic hardware, software, and network connectivity issues. Log all incidents and requests accurately in the ITSM platform (ManageEngine ServiceDesk Plus Cloud). Escalate complex issues to Level II-IV support or appropriate groups. Assist users with password resets, account unlocks, VPN connectivity, and standard applications (O365, Teams, Outlook, etc.). Follow documented SOPs and knowledge base articles to ensure consistent support delivery. Maintain strong communication with end users to provide timely updates and closure confirmation. What You'll Need to Have for the
Role:
0-2 years of IT support or helpdesk experience. Basic understanding of Windows 10/11, Active Directory, and Office 365. Familiarity with ticketing systems and remote support tools. Excellent communication and customer service skills. A+ certification or equivalent experience preferred. General Compensation Disclosure The pay range for this role considers several factors in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. At Camping World, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the factors stated. A reasonable estimate of the current range is listed below.
Pay Range:
