Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and entry level IT Support Specialist to join our dynamic technology team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong foundation in technical support and troubleshooting, with a passion for resolving complex IT issues efficiently. The IT Support Specialist will assist in providing hands-on technical support across multiple office locations, helping address day-to-day technical needs and supporting reliable systems for staff. This position is primarily on-site and requires travel between local offices, working under the guidance of senior team members as needed. Duties
  • Provide Tier 1 helpdesk support for end users across multiple locations
  • Troubleshoot basic hardware and software issues on Windows-based systems
  • Assist with Microsoft 365 tasks such as user account setup, password resets, and basic support
  • Configure and deploy PCs, laptops, monitors, and printers
  • Assist with basic networking tasks such as connectivity troubleshooting and device setup
  • Respond to support requests in a timely and professional manner
  • Document issues, resolutions, and procedures clearly and accurately
  • Follow established processes and escalate issues when appropriate
  • Travel between offices to provide on-site support as directed
  • Basic understanding of computer hardware, Windows operating systems, and common business applications
  • Fundamental knowledge of networking concepts such as IP addressing, Wi-Fi, and connectivity (preferred)
  • Strong problem-solving mindset with a willingness to learn
  • Ability to follow instructions and execute tasks accurately
  • Willingness to ask questions and seek clarification when needed
  • Ability to manage assigned tasks with guidance and prioritize work effectively
  • Strong communication skills with a customer service-oriented mindset
  • Ability to document technical issues and resolutions clearly Experience Proven experience in providing IT support within a corporate or enterprise environment with a focus on desktop support and help desk operations.
Knowledge of computer networking concepts Hands-on experience with operating systems such as Microsoft Windows Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot hardware components including computers, printers, mobile devices, routers, switches, and other peripherals effectively. Excellent communication skills combined with analysis skills to diagnose issues accurately while providing clear guidance to users at all levels of technical proficiency.
Pay:
$22.00 - $25.00 per hour
