As an IT Support Specialist , you will be the face of the company, constantly driving the highest levels of client satisfaction through the management of existing client relationships. This job is for you if you love interacting with team members and bending over backwards to make sure clients are happy. You should love analyzing and optimizing processes, and you should be comfortable gathering resources and solving problems. Responsibilities and Duties Identify and resolve technical issues associated with desktop/laptops, servers, operating systems, application software, peripherals and mobile devices. Log support tickets and maintain detailed documentation for each case Install, monitor and support PCs, servers, mobile devices. Provide network support including routers, firewalls, and security Use exemplary soft skills to connect with users and defuse frustrations while also resolving their technical problems Assist with equipment quotes, orders, and shipping Assist with inventory management Provide operations support Hardware setup using documented procedures Engages with customers and vendors on a regular basis to ensure exceptional service. Work with management to support the execution of company strategy Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Strong customer service skills with the ability to coordinate and interface with clients and vendors. Strong interpersonal skills to build relationships and work effectively with team members, clients and vendors. Ability to utilize checklists for consistency without being dependent on them. You must be able to apply a deeper understanding of processes and technologies. You must be able to draw on your experience to solve problems , apply the right solutions, and make appropriate judgement calls Ability to prioritize and meet deadlines Strong active listening skills to identify client opportunities, goals and challenges in order to develop recommendations, formulate future plans, and anticipate challenges Excellent writing skills with an impeccable grasp of grammar, business-oriented writing style. Strong organizational and time management skills Work Experience Advanced understanding of operating systems, business applications, and network systems as well as support tools, techniques, and how technology is used to provide IT services.
