As part of the WF Embedded Technology Program, focused on enabling WF to reduce its risk of having technology solutions built and owned in the LOBs without the required technology controls and support, this role will address the need to clearly and readily articulate the definition of Technology, the roles & responsibilities for procuring, acquiring and developing technology and the multiple types of controls required to enable the secure and effective management of the technology type of assets. This role will require a heavy reliance to partner with many other technology organizations, such as infrastructure, information security, architecture, data, etc. in ensuring the inclusion of the varying requirements and needs from all the major stakeholder teams. Will also require strong communication skills and leadership skills in order to manage the multiple senior stakeholders. In addition, requires ability to negotiate and influence the right outcomes while also meeting the program objectives. Finally the role requires a solid understanding of technology and its value proposition as well as usage.
Position Responsibilities and Expected Outcomes:
Manage inventory of Embedded IT assets in alignment with Embedded IT definition and scope Monitoring, reporting and tracking of Embedded IT asset remediation in accordance with policies Provide clear communication and direction to the Embedded IT leaders and workstream partners on assessment and remediation strategy Partner with testing teams for sustainability of Embedded IT program and manage records or artifacts Partner with workstream leads to drive consistency and transparency across all workstream deliverables Provide regular program level reporting to senior leadership and key stakeholders on progress against deliverables Prepare ad hoc presentation materials as needed for various senior level update meetings and communications Establish communication plans and routines to ensure proper information flow throughout and across the workstream Provide status reports as well as track and drive resolution of risks & issues across the workstream Responsible to assist in the definition of future program operating model and lead implementation of routines to enable sustainability Required Qualifications 6+ months of experience in the design and development of technology solutions demonstrated through work, military, or education Desired Qualifications Strong analytical skills and ability to solve complex technical problems Strong, clear and concise written and oral communication skills Advanced Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint) skills Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail and accuracy Ability to work effectively in virtual environment where key team members and partners are in various time zones and locations Ability to work independently Experience in corporate-wide policy governance, maintenance and governance of the plans, playbooks and policies Other Desired Qualifications 1+ years experience with building control systems 1+ years of technical engagement experience with multiple stakeholders 1+ years of secure SDLC (System Development Life Cycle) methodologies experience
