The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience supporting laboratory systems, scientific instruments, desktop environments, and end users within regulated pharmaceutical, biotechnology, or life sciences environments. Key Responsibilities Provide onsite IT support for laboratory and research environments. Support and maintain laboratory instruments, instrument-connected workstations, and associated software applications. Troubleshoot hardware, software, network connectivity, and instrument communication issues. Install, configure, upgrade, and maintain desktop computers, laptops, printers, and peripheral devices. Coordinate with laboratory users, vendors, and cross-functional IT teams to resolve technical issues. Support instrument connectivity and integration with laboratory systems and enterprise applications. Perform software deployments, patch management, and system upgrades in compliance with company standards. Maintain accurate documentation of incidents, changes, configurations, and procedures. Ensure compliance with GMP, GxP, FDA, and other regulatory requirements. Participate in project activities, equipment deployments, migrations, and technology refresh initiatives. Provide timely incident resolution and excellent customer service to laboratory personnel. Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. 3+ years of experience supporting IT systems in pharmaceutical, biotechnology, healthcare, or laboratory environments. Experience with laboratory instrument support and instrument-connected systems. Strong knowledge of Windows operating systems, desktop support, and troubleshooting. Experience with Active Directory, Microsoft Office 365, and enterprise IT environments. Knowledge of networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN, and network troubleshooting). Experience working with ticketing systems such as ServiceNow. Excellent communication and customer support skills. Ability to work independently in a fast-paced laboratory environment.
