The IT Manager will handle all in-store hardware settings and installations, serve as the primary point of contact for each system department, and negotiate with local vendors. Duties also encompass setting up and troubleshooting business PCs and smartphones for staff members and managing internal information systems and software engineering tasks. [ Essential Duties ​​​​​​​] IT-related Coordination ・System Implementation and Operation Oversee the implementation in the U.S. of various IT systems used in Japan to ensure optimal functionality and security. Lead system upgrades and new system installations. Ensure smooth operation and maintenance of these systems, conducting regular system audits and reports. ・Hardware Installation and Maintenance Supervise in-store hardware setup and installation, including POS systems, order management systems, and other related hardware. Ensure regular maintenance and updates for hardware systems. Troubleshoot hardware issues and coordinate with the appropriate departments or vendors to ensure optimum performance. ・Interdepartmental and Vendor Communication Serve as a primary liaison between the IT department and other business units, translating business requirements into technical specifications. Manage relationships with vendors and service providers, ensuring contracts meet company standards. ・IT Support Provide IT support, including setting up and troubleshooting business PCs and smartphones for employees. Develop and implement IT policy and best practice guides for the organization. Design, develop, implement, and coordinate systems, policies, and procedures to ensure data accuracy and security. Oversee and manage security of all systems, networks, and enterprise information. Evaluate and recommend new technology strategies and solutions that could benefit the company. Conduct regular system audits and prepare and present performance reports to the top management. ・Strategic Planning Align the IT strategy with the organization's business objectives. Participate in the formulation of the company's business and digital strategies. Continually research and evaluate emerging technologies, hardware, and software to stay competitive and be able to recommend necessary updates and integrations. ・Budget Management Develop and manage the annual IT budget, including purchases and staffing expenses. Forecast costs, equipment and personnel needs for projects and departments. General Work Policies Strive for constant improvement by identifying more efficient and cost-effective approaches in work processes. Perform special projects and other miscellaneous duties as assigned. Uphold high ethical standards within the workplace, promoting a respectful and transparent environment. Report any irregularities or problems promptly to other Executives facilitating timely and appropriate solutions. Maintain effective and open communication with co-workers, and external contacts.
