What You'll Be Doing:
In this role, you will help maintain and troubleshoot lab-based instrument controller PCs, instrument software, scientific applications, and related tools. You will work closely with scientists at 201 Brookline Avenue and collaborate with IT Infrastructure, IT Operations/End User Services, and Lab Operations/Facilities to address technical issues and enable day-to-day lab operations across Verve's Research and QC labs. How You'll Succeed:
You will bring your skills to provide technical support for GxP and non-GxP scientific users, including troubleshooting, system administration, reporting, development, and implementation. By working jointly with scientists and IT colleagues, you'll help evaluate, implement, and maintain systems that improve processes, streamline workflows, and increase lab productivity. With a high level of curiosity, you will help implement and administer new technologies, including GxP and non-GxP lab systems. Assisting with creation of technical work instructions and related documentation. Maintaining and troubleshoot lab instruments and software such as Agilent, Chemstation, MiSeq, Sartorius, Sciex Analyst, Bruker, MassLynx, and Waters Empower.
What You Should Bring:
2+ years of relevant experience, preferably within pharma/biotech Flexibility and teamwork with excellent interpersonal, communication, problem solving, and documentation skills. Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities while applying sound judgment and strong problem-solving skills. Familiarity with lab instruments and software such as Agilent Chemstation, Sciex Analyst, MassLynx, Bruker, Waters Empower, sequencers, ELNs, LIMS, and SDMS, etc. Exposure to system administration tasks within platforms such as LIMS, ELNs, or chromatography data systems is a plus. Exposure to GxP environments and familiarity with 21 CFR Part 11, change controls, and computer system validation is a plus.
Your Basic Requirements:
Minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent 1+ years of relevant experience, preferably within pharma/biotech Experience with tools such as VB, XML, ColdFusion, Java, SQL, Toad, APIs, or software integration tools is a plus. Qualified applicants must be authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis. The anticipated wage for this position is $71,250 - $167,200 Full-time equivalent employees also will be eligible for a company bonus (depending, in part, on company and individual performance).
