Job Description

This is a third shift position. Hours are 11PM - 7AMThe IT Operations Analyst is responsible for monitoring and analyzing the operation of Client Server platforms (i.e. central console, on-line terminals, etc.)Essential Generic Job Functions (List in order of importance):
  • Identifies, analyzes, and solves technical problems to ensure optimal performance.
  • Hands on within the data center doing cabling and rack and stack
  • Responds to customer problems and complaints.
  • Assesses performance and makes recommendations for change based on company needs and goals.
  • Designs monitoring tools to detect and report on system performance.
  • Troubleshoots and provides support to users.
  • Maintains necessary production journal and control log(s).
  • Maintains operation records of machine utilization, PMs and/or equipment repairs.
  • Preforms and verifies backup procedures for related solutions as per defined policies and procedures.
  • Other duties and/or projects as assigned.
Lifts a minimum of 25 lbs., pushes and pulls a minimum of 25 lbs. and stands a minimum of 2 hours a day.
