Class Program Office is responsible for: The construction of

Class submarines, financial and budget management, shipyard support of submarines, vendor support of submarines, logistical support, quality assurance (SUBSAFE), and post-delivery submarine certifications and test programs. The Team Submarine concept unifies once diverse submarine-related activities into a single submarine-centric organization with the goal of eliminating traditional stovepipe structures and processes that created impediments and inefficiencies in the submarine research, development, acquisition, and maintenance communities. Team Submarine provides improved communication among the various offices that contribute to the overall success of the United States Submarine Force.

Establish and maintain effective relationships with the program manager, deputy program manager and/or technical lead. Lead program review sessions with customer to discuss cost, schedule, and technical performance. Provide acquisition management planning and execution support. Leading technical discussions for project reviews, including preparing and delivering formal briefings. Performs additional duties and responsibilities as assigned. To be successful in this role, you will need: The ability to obtain/maintain/transfer an Active DoD Secret Security Clearance.
A Bachelor's degree in a technical or a related field. 2 years of relevant work experience. Excellent written and oral communications skills. Time management skills. Proven excellent interpersonal skills. Ability to multitask effectively. The ability to travel up to 10%. Ability to use Microsoft Office packages effectively. Ability to be flexible both in relation to job-specification and schedules. Ability to solve problems.
Additional desired experience and skills:
Experience with Navy acquisition and/or in-service programs. Active Duty Experience in the submarine service preferred. Recent experience in Team Submarine would be ideal.
