Field PLC Customer Support Manager

Field PLC Customer Support Manager PLC Support Manager - PLC Support Manager will support customers using our industrial machinery. This role is hands-on, customer-facing, and serves as the primary technical contact for troubleshooting PLC, mechanical, and equipment performance issues. You'll also provide light leadership for a small team of field service technicians. This is a local, non-traveling role focused on real-time problem solving. What You'll Do

• Lead customer support for machinery issues via phone/email
• Troubleshoot PLC and mechanical problems (Siemens/Allen-Bradley preferred)
• Schedule and coordinate field technicians for service calls and startups
• Guide customers through fixes to reduce downtime
• Document issues and trends for continuous improvement
• Provide light supervision for a team of three service techs
• Collaborate with engineering, operations, and sales to resolve issues and share field insights What You Bring
• Technical background in industrial machinery, automation, PLCs, and mechanical troubleshooting
• Strong communication skills with non-technical customers
• Experience in technical support or service coordination
• Basic leadership experience preferred
