SUMMARY:
The IT Support Specialist assists the company in meeting its objectives and goals by supporting the IT Manager in the day-to-day IT operations and functions of the organization.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Essential duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to: IT Support Day-to-day support as needed. Computer, software, printer, and mobile device inventory, setup, and maintenance Antivirus and patch management and monitoring for computer and server operating systems Provide basic Active Directory Users & Computers Support Provide end user help desk support Ensure that Corporate SOP's are met Manage mobile phones and tablets Valid driver's license and reliable transportation required as travel to local sites is necessary on occasion Perform other duties as assigned by IT Manager
CHARACTERISTICS AND SKILLS
The successful candidate for this role is an individual who demonstrates a high level of service, commitment and execution. The following are required characteristics, knowledge, skills and abilities: Possess exceptional customer service skills, patient, well organized, and a good communicator. Expertise in computer software, hardware maintenance, and technical support. Experience with repairing, diagnosing, and upgrading PC hardware and basic network troubleshooting. Self-motivated with a high attention to detail. Demonstrate strong interpersonal skills and the ability to read and interpret communication styles of diverse team members who come from a broad spectrum of disciplines.
REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
Associate's degree in area of study related to this position. High School Diploma or equivalency required. Microsoft Windows 10 & 11 Operating Systems Support Windows Server 2016 & 2019 Operating Systems Support Microsoft 365 Suite Basic Microsoft Active Directory
REQUIRED ATTRIBUTES

PREFERED EXPERIENCE
CompTIA or Microsoft Certifications or comparable experience Carbon Black or similar endpoint security technology Microsoft Intune, SCCM, and Autopilot or similar endpoint management technology
ADDITIONAL NOTED REQUIREMENTS
This position is based in the Baltimore, MD office and is an on-site position. Occasional travel in the area of Maryland, Virginia, and Ohio is required. Work hours are generally 40 hours per week but may flex based on needs of the business.
