Alphident Job Responsibilities :

Providing tier 1 & 2 helpdesk support to BEA users Monitoring daily Helpdesk tickets assigned and address/resolve in a timely manner Providing effective communication/teamwork with Office of Customer Support staff concerning any helpdesk ticket problems or issues requiring assistance. Maintaining records of available in-stock computers and peripherals Installing and removing computer equipment for incoming and departing BEA users Managing and performing computer equipment moves Maintaining computer equipment in storage space Assisting with excessing computer equipment to include removal and sanitization of hard drives Packaging up IT equipment in preparation of shipping to BEA remote users when needed Providing support for resolving printer problems and changing toner cartridges for personal and network printers Providing support for conference room audio & visual assistance and issues. Assisting users with troubleshooting computer connectivity problems Providing end-user hardware and software troubleshooting support Assisting with imaging and configuring BEA laptops Assisting with configuring and issuing BEA mobile devices Performing workstation vulnerability remediations Creating and maintaining IT knowledgebase articles based off issues identified Providing hands-on IT customer support for BEA Providing operational support for BEA's desktop workstations. Providing helpdesk end-user support for calls related to desktop workstation hardware.

Requirements :

Associate degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience). Relevant certifications preferred (e.g., CompTIA Network+, CompTIA A+,

Microsoft Certified:

Fundamentals, or equivalent). Must be eligible for and maintain a Public Trust background clearance; must qualify for a government-issued ID badge (PIV card)
