Job Description

This position is located in the Department of Health & Human Services (HHS), Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS), Center for Program Integrity (CPI), Data Analytics and Systems Group (DASG). As a IT Specialist (Systems Analysis), GS-2210-13, you will design, develop, and implement new and modernized information technology (IT) systems to detect fraud, waste, and abuse in Medicare and Medicaid.

In order to qualify for the GS-13 , you must meet the following: You must demonstrate in your resume at least one year (52 weeks) of qualifying specialized experience equivalent to the GS-12 grade level in the Federal government, obtained in either the private or public sector, to include: Managing IT projects through the full Systems Development Life Cycle (SDLC) to deliver IT products, services, or systems; AND Implementing IT modernization enhancements by applying IT principles, methods, and practices across system analysis, design, development, or testing; AND Conducting studies (such as feasibility analyses, cost analyses, or risk assessments) to develop recommendations on IT system improvements or process changes for management; AND Monitoring staff and contractor compliance with IT project plans, policies, or procedures.
