Field Technician China Township, MI (Onsite/Field) W2 contract role 12 Months then eligible for Contract renewal
Job Description:
In field technical support of various IT devices and supporting infrastructure. Key Accountabilities Configuring devices to connect to a network and resources - setting up security policies, user profiles, and network access. Basic Troubleshooting Primary Applications (Windows II) Mapping within Primary Applications Imaging Reoccurring Database updates Desktop Apps (MDT Diagnosis Tool, MDT Printer set up, Mappoint, GT Viewer) General device repair (Replacement of CMOS, hard drive, screen protector, main battery, internal modem, internal GPS replacement) Preferred Efficient organizational skills and Information gathering skills. Min 2-year experience supporting Windows II Work as a team member and support multiple clients. Intermediate problem-solving skills. Intermediate computer skills (word, excel). Other Requirements Intermediate written and presentation communication skills. Valid driver's license and insurance Reliable transportation which can carry 300 lbs. Customer support skills and phone skills. Knowledge and familiarity with PC setup and installation of software. Provides 24 x 7 trouble response when needed. Passes initial Department of Transportation (DOT) drug screens and random drug testing Minimum Education & Experience Requirements Associates degree in related field and 1-2 years' experience or a High School diploma or GED and 3-5 years prior experience
