OUR TEAM IS LOOKING FOR AN IT SPECIALIST!
Position Overview:
The IT Specialist s primary role is to provide support to our staff in our many veterinary hospital locations. They will work directly with the Director of Technology to troubleshoot and resolve a wide range of technological issues. Our IT Specialist Team Member will: Install PC s and computer related equipment (Monitors, Network Switches, etc.) Record logs of work done and the resolution into specified support queueing system Preform remote and in-person diagnostics and repair software and hardware related computer issues Troubleshoot network related issues for wireless and wired networks Assist with updating and preparation of PC s for installation Repair and replacement of computer and server hardware Assist with IT inventory tracking through auditing and data entry Train end users on proper use of technologies such as Microsoft Windows, Microsoft Office, Basecamp, and other related technologies to their individual clinics Perform other job-related duties as assigned
Qualifications:
Associate's or Bachelor's degree in related field At least 1-2 years of IT experience with the ability to work independently Familiarity with common computer systems and software s i.e., Mac OS X, Microsoft Windows, iOS, Android Ability to provide instructions to end users on how to resolve technological issues Strong problem-solving skills related to technology and common computer issues Understanding of Basic Computer Networking Principles Basic Knowledge of Windows Domains, Active Directory, and Firewalls Ability to adapt and learn new software systems quickly on the job Strong communication skills Some weekends required
