Headquarters /Auburn Hills, MI Job Summary:
This role is responsible for supporting and maintaining Mersino s diverse desktop, laptop, mobile, and cloud-based technology environment. This role ensures reliable day-to-day operation of end-user systems while providing technical support across multiple platforms, locations, and user groups. The IT Systems Engineer partners with internal teams to deploy, secure, troubleshoot, and optimize hardware, software, and cloud services, ensuring technology solutions align with business needs, operational efficiency, and security standards. This position plays a key role in maintaining system stability, improving user experience, and supporting Mersino s continued growth across its branch network.Typical Duties and Responsibilities:
- Manage daily support calls and support tickets.
- Support the company s dispersed desktop/laptop systems company-wide.
- Apply software updates as needed.
- Resolve client issues, perform routine updates to devices.
- Interact with team members to assist in troubleshooting and identify the root cause of system problems.
- Manage AWS Cloud environment.
- Set up computers for deployment.
- Training of users on how to use Mersino Applications.
- Work with the team to improve training documentation.
- Provide remote desktop support.
- Assist with the mobile device management tool.
Qualifications:
- 3+ years supporting a Windows Computer environment.
- Basic understanding of mobile device management.
- Outstanding communication skills.
- Troubleshooting skills.
- Organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to work both independently and as a member of a team.
- Initiative to research and resolve problems.
- Travel up to 30%.
Specific Expectations:
- Certifications are not required, but are a plus (A+, N+, MCP, MCSA/E, VCP)
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
- Experience with customer support.
- Experience with remote management tools.
- General AWS Cloud experience.
- Experience with AirWatch or equivalent mobile device management platform
- Bachelor s level degree in an IT related.
