Job Description
POSITION SUMMARY
The IT Support Intern will assist in provisioning, deploying, configuring, and supporting client devices and related hardware/software across the organization. This role provides firsthand experience with laptops, PCs, mobile devices, printers, and basic networking while contributing to day-to-day IT operations. The intern will gain exposure to enterprise environments, security practices, and emerging technologies as part of a collaborative IT team.RESPONSIBILITIES
Provide basic technical support to end users via remote tools, phone, and onsite assistance under team guidance. Assist in monitoring and updating trouble tickets and IT service requests. Support maintenance of client hardware and software, including Windows 11, Office 365, printers, and mobile devices. Help track and manage inventory of IT hardware and software assets. Assist with device setup, imaging, and deployment for employees. Participate in system maintenance tasks such as updates, patches, and basic security configurations. Help troubleshoot basic network connectivity issues (wired and wireless)EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree or certification in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field Relevant coursework, certifications (e.g., CompTIA A+, Network+), or firsthand lab experience preferred. Prior internship, part-time IT, or help desk experience is a plus, but not required.PERSONAL SKILLS/ATTRIBUTES
