IT Technician

Description Seeking Desktop Support Technician or IT Support Technician to handle day to day tickets and assist with a large refresh project. Day to day responsibilities include imaging, deploying machines, handling support tickets, and providing customer service. Technical Support:

Offer in-person or remote support for software, hardware, and network issues.

System Maintenance:

Install, configure, and maintain computers, laptops, and peripheral devices (e.g., printers, scanners).

Troubleshooting:

Diagnose and resolve technical problems efficiently to minimize disruption.

User Support:

Provide technical assistance for operating systems and software applications used internally.

Documentation:

Log all support requests and actions taken within a ticketing system

Required Qualifications & Skills:

Experience:

Experience with desktop hardware/software troubleshooting is usually required, often with specialized experience required for higher-level positions (e.g., Specialist II).

Technical Knowledge:

Proficiency with Microsoft Windows OS, Microsoft Office, and network configuration.

Communication:

Strong verbal and written skills for effective communication with healthcare providers and staff.

Problem-Solving:

Ability to troubleshoot complex IT issues under pressure. Experience Level Intermediate Level Job Type & Location This is a Contract position based out of Petoskey, MI. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $22.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
