Job Description

POSITION SUMMARY
The System Technician will provide frontline technical support for end users across office and plant environments. This role is responsible for Help Desk operations, workstation support, Microsoft 365 administration (including Teams Voice), ERP system support (Delmiaworks/IQMS), and plant floor technologies such as kiosks and timekeeping systems. The ideal candidate is service-oriented, hands-on, and comfortable working in a fast-paced manufacturing setting.

IT Support Requests End User and Help Desk Support Support users/locations with System/Software Microsoft 365 Administration
PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Serve as first point of contact for IT support requests - Tickets, phone, and in-person. Troubleshoot hardware, software, network, and user access issues Provide timely resolution or escalate issues as needed Track, document, and update ticket status in the Help Desk system Support and administer Microsoft 365 services, including: User account provisioning (Azure AD / Entra ID) Email, Exchange Online, and distribution groups Microsoft Teams support, including Teams Voice configuration and troubleshooting Licensing management SharePoint and OneDrive basic support Assist with onboarding/offboarding processes and access control Work with internal teams or vendors to escalate complex issues Maintain and support manufacturing floor IT equipment Support and maintain network infrastructure, including: Cisco/Meraki networking and wireless devices (switches, firewalls, access points) Monitor network performance and assist in basic troubleshooting of connectivity issues Install, configure, and maintain desktops, laptops, mobile devices, and peripherals Manage inventory of IT assets and supplies Support printers, conferencing equipment, and network-connected devices Other duties as assigned
REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES
Experience with Crystal Reports a plus Advanced technical skills and aptitude to support the organizational IT requirements Be organized, self-motivated and able to prioritize work orders Follow verbal, written and technical instructions with minimal supervision Prioritize projects and services to minimize user interruption and down time Employ a customer service approach Meet schedules and timelines Maintain confidentiality of sensitive and private information Basic understanding of: Windows OS and desktop support Microsoft 365 (Exchange, Teams, SharePoint basics) Active Directory / Entra ID fundamentals Networking basics (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP) Experience supporting: Microsoft Teams Voice (telephony) Cisco or Meraki networking environments Cisco AnyConnect VPN ERP systems (Delmiaworks/IQMS or similar) Manufacturing or plant floor environments Familiarity with ticketing systems and ITIL concepts Experience with device imaging and endpoint management tools (e.g., Intune)
