The IT Support Specialist will be responsible for providing technical support and troubleshooting services to our staff and ensuring the smooth operation of our IT systems. This is a full-time, permanent position based in our office in Kansas City, Missouri.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide technical support and troubleshooting services for hardware, software, and network issues. Install, configure, and maintain computer systems, printers, and other IT equipment. Set up new user accounts and maintain user access rights. Monitor system performance and troubleshoot any issues that arise. Ensure the security and integrity of all IT systems and data. Conduct regular backups and maintain disaster recovery plans. Train staff on the use of software and hardware systems. Keep up-to-date with the latest technology trends and make recommendations for improvements to existing systems. Collaborate with external vendors and service providers as needed. Maintain inventory of IT equipment and supplies. Assist with the implementation of new IT projects and initiatives.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role. Strong knowledge of computer hardware, software, and networking. Experience with Windows and Mac operating systems. Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR) systems is a plus. Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and in a team environment. Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask.
