- $26 an hour 22 hours ago Qualifications Low-voltage system cabling Technical Proficiency Full Job Description EvansDixon is currently seeking to add an IT Support Technician to join our expanding and fast-paced Kansas City office.
Responsibilities:
Work closely with IT Staff and IT consultants to maintain proper function of the firm's technology systems and environment Follow company IT security protocols and assist in maintaining network integrity and compliance standards Respond to user inquiries and troubleshoot hardware, software, and network issues to ensure minimal downtime and maximum productivity. Log, track, and resolve tickets using help desk software; escalate unresolved issues to appropriate IT personnel when necessary. Ensure timely notification to users on system changes and system outages Assist with setup and deployment of workstations, laptops, mobile devices, conference room equipment, and peripheral equipment. Assist with planned expansion Occasional travel required Other duties may be assignedSkills and Specifications:

Education and Qualifications:
Associate or Bachelor's degree in Information Technology Computer Science Computer Information Systems Other related technical fields Previous Helpdesk experience. Ability to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Proficient in basic network cabling tasks, such as creating patch cables and installing structured cabling. CompensationWork Schedule This is a full-time position. Ability to work 40 hours a week This position is based at our downtown Kansas City office and will spend significant time at our Overland Park office. Hourly rate of $22- $26 per hour.
