Job Description:
Are you passionate about technology and eager to kick-start your career in the dynamic field of IT services? We are seeking a motivated and entry-level IT Services Technician to join our team. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals with a strong interest in IT, even if you have little to no professional experience.
Key Responsibilities:
Technical Support:
Provide first-level technical support to end-users via phone, email, or in-person. Troubleshoot hardware and software issues and escalate as needed. Assist users with basic IT inquiries and guide them through problem resolution.
Installation and Configuration:
Assist in the installation and configuration of computer systems, software, and peripherals. Set up and deploy workstations, ensuring hardware and software compatibility.
Documentation:
Maintain accurate records of IT support issues and resolutions. Create and update documentation for common technical procedures.
Collaboration:
Collaborate with other IT team members to resolve complex issues and provide efficient solutions. Communicate effectively with end-users to gather necessary information for issue resolution.
Learning and Development:
Stay abreast of emerging technologies and industry trends. Participate in training sessions to enhance technical skills and knowledge.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent; additional technical certifications or coursework is a plus. Strong passion for technology and a willingness to learn. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Basic understanding of computer hardware, software, and operating systems. Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment. Eagerness to take on new challenges and grow within the IT field.
