Job Description

Role Overview We are looking for a reliable IT Technician to provide essential first-level support to our team. In this role, you ll be the go-to person for installing, configuring, and maintaining our computers, software, and peripheral equipment. Do Support:
Act as the first point of contact for help desk calls, resolving issues or escalating them to the next tier when necessary.
Hardware :
Setup, repair, and replace PCs, printers, scanners, and other peripherals at various department locations.
Software:
Install and configure Windows OS, Office 365, and other application updates.
Troubleshooting:
Identify and resolve network connectivity, hardware malfunctions, and software glitches.
Documentation:
Maintain clear records of technical issues and resolutions. What You ll Need (Minimum Qualifications)
Education:
High School diploma/GED plus an Associate s degree in IT (or equivalent professional experience).
Experience:
At least 1 year of experience as a Help Desk or PC Technician.
Certification:
CompTIA A+ or a similar industry-recognized certification.
Requirements :
Must hold a valid driver s license and be able to pass a drug test and criminal background check. Knowledge & Skills Strong proficiency in Windows 10/11 and Office 365. Working knowledge of Microsoft Windows networks and general networking principles. Excellent communication skills and professional phone etiquette. Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks under deadlines. Physical Requirements & Work Environment Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks such as bending, climbing, and walking long distances. Comfortable working in a quiet-to-moderate office environment with occasional loud periods. Willingness to travel occasionally throughout the County (and rarely out of state). Why Join Clay County?
