Field Support Technician (Path to Handyman Tech)

Role:

We're looking for a dependable, hard-working Field Support Technician to help keep our jobs running smoothly. This is a hands-on, active role supporting our technicians in the field and maintaining shop and truck organization. This position is designed for someone who wants to get into the trades. You'll be exposed to real job sites, real work, and have the opportunity to grow into a Handyman Technician role based on performance.

What You'll Do:

Deliver materials, tools, and supplies to job sites Run errands to local suppliers (Home Depot, Lowe's, etc.) Assist technicians on-site with basic tasks when needed Keep trucks clean, organized, and fully stocked Organize and maintain shop, tools, and storage areas Load and unload materials and equipment Help track inventory and restock commonly used items Support day-to-day operations to keep jobs moving efficiently

Requirements:

Clean driving record (required) Valid driver's license Ability to lift 60+ lbs regularly Ability to work on your feet and stay active throughout the day Growth Path -

Handyman Technician:

This role is a starting point for someone who wants to build a career in the trades. The right candidate will have the opportunity to: Learn hands-on skills from experienced technicians Gain experience across multiple trades (drywall, carpentry, minor plumbing/electrical, etc.) Move into a Handyman Technician role based on reliability, attitude, and skill development

Pay & Growth:

$20-$24 per hour, based on experience Full-time position with consistent hours

Performance Raises & Advancement:

Pay increases based on reliability, work ethic, and ability to take on more responsibility Hands-on training provided in the field with experienced technicians Clear path to Handyman Technician role for the right candidate Typical Growth Timeline (for strong performers): 0-3 months: Learn systems, support field team, handle parts running and shop organization 3-6 months: Begin assisting on job sites and taking on basic repair tasks 6-12 months: Transition into a Handyman Technician role based on performance and skill development We're looking for someone who wants to build a skillset and grow into a long-term role—not just a short-term job.

Pay:

$20.00 - $24.00 per hour
