The IT Support Specialist will be responsible for providing technical support and assistance to our staff, ensuring the smooth operation of our computer systems and networks. This is a full-time, permanent position with competitive salary and benefits.
Key Responsibilities:
Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, and network issues for staff Install, configure, and maintain computer systems and software Set up and maintain user accounts and permissions Monitor and maintain network security and data backup systems Provide training and support to staff on new technology and software Collaborate with vendors and service providers to resolve technical issues Create and maintain technical documentation and procedures Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in technology
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field Minimum of 2 years of experience in IT support or a related role Solid understanding of computer systems, networks, and software applications Experience with troubleshooting hardware and software issues Knowledge of network security and data backup procedures Excellent communication and problem-solving skills Ability to work independently and in a team environment Strong attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks Certifications such as CompTIA A+, Network+, or Microsoft Certified Solutions Associate (MCSA) are a plus
