IT Support Specialist

The IT Network Specialist (Operations Support) is responsible for the daily support of the local Bakkavor production systems (Bartender, Easy Label, TL Ashford, Markmagic, etc.), Desktop Support (LAN, WAN, WLAN's, WAP), and procedural documentation in a manufacturing setting. This position must solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form. Responsibilities Production Support (Support of factory systems; including Bizerba System, Bartender System and label printers): Line down analysis and resolution process. Development of procedures to support factory change over and product run. Troubleshooting issues and working with operations and vendors to provide solution. Technical Support •(installations, updates and troubleshooting): Windows (7 and 10)- Adding/ Removing applications Adding/ Removing PC's to the domain, printers to Windows and file server Configure new MS exchange mailboxes Map and un-map network drives

Network Support:

Patching network drops to Switches Troubleshoots desk side connectivity, WLAN's and WAP's Troubleshoots basic network LAN/WAN and internet issues The Ideal Candidate Bachelor's Degree in IT related field, or equivalent work experience in LAN helpdesk environment. CompTIA A+ Certification or equivalent business experience. Experience working with labeling software. (Bartender, Easy Label, TL Ashford, Markmagic, etc.) Experience working with factory, planning, scheduling systems a plus. Excellent communication skills - Ability to write, speak and interact clearly and professionally. Exceptional customer service skills, over the phone and in person, with internal and external customers. Proven ability supporting multiple members of management and on multiple projects simultaneously. Excellent organizational skills and ability to prioritize different projects. Ability to handle sensitive information with the highest degree of integrity and confidentiality. Maintains professionalism and a positive service attitude at all times.
