Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a skilled Marketing, IT, and Outreach Specialist to support our Family Advocacy Program (FAP). The Marketing, IT and Outreach Specialist supports the Family Advocacy Program (FAP) through marketing, outreach, information technology support, data management, photography, website and social media administration. The incumbent is responsible for creating and maintaining marketing materials, supporting community outreach efforts, assisting with technology needs, generating statistical reports, and maintaining electronic records and databases in accordance with Government requirements and established procedures. Minimum Qualifications Education Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university. Copies of degree transcripts must be provided and maintained in the employee personnel file. Verification documentation must be submitted to the Family Advocacy Program Manager (FAPM). Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite and Adobe Acrobat. Working knowledge of digital photography and operation of Nikon D5000, Canon EOS Digital Rebel XTi, or similar digital camera systems. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including: Microsoft Word Microsoft Excel Microsoft PowerPoint Microsoft Publisher Microsoft Outlook Ability to prepare and present data in graphical and presentation formats. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously. Experience with social media platforms and website administration. Basic IT troubleshooting and technical support skills. Ability to maintain confidential information and comply with applicable Government regulations and procedures. Essential Duties and ResponsibilitiesMarketing and Communications Design, develop, and maintain marketing materials, brochures, flyers, advertisements, and promotional content for FAP programs and events. Submit draft marketing materials for Government review and approval prior to final publication.
Create and update:
Quarterly FAP Class Calendars Quad-fold flyers Special event flyers Event-specific marketing and training tools Monthly newspaper advertisements Bi-monthly magazine advertisements Weekly program advertisements Ensure all marketing requests are completed in accordance with established ACS and FAP marketing procedures and timelines. Website and Social Media Management Maintain and update the FAP website and social media platforms. Develop and publish approved content, including: Program information Educational articles Event promotions Short video clips Resource information Monitor social media and digital communication channels daily. Respond to inquiries and direct concerns to appropriate personnel. Report emerging trends, concerns, or issues to the COR and FAPM. Community Outreach Support outreach activities within the surrounding community. Provide information and referrals regarding Family Advocacy Program services. Present program overviews to community organizations and partners. Participate in approved community events to strengthen relationships and enhance program visibility. Assist with ACS and community partner events as approved by management. Information Technology Support Assist with technology setup and preparation for staff. Troubleshoot routine IT issues and coordinate resolution efforts in accordance with established Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs). Monitor and report technology equipment performance issues. Marquee and Digital Sign Management Maintain and update digital marquee/LED signs.
Ensure displays accurately communicate:
Program schedules Special events Emergency notifications Weather alerts Threat condition updates Report equipment malfunctions or degradation to Government representatives. Photography and Multimedia Support Complete OPSEC Level II Training within 30 days of contract award and provide documentation to the COR. Photograph approved FAP events, outreach activities, meetings, classes, and staff functions. Edit photographs for use in approved marketing and communication materials. Submit all photographs for Government approval prior to publication. Maintain compliance with all OPSEC and Government photography requirements.
