Job Description
The remote Identity Access Management Specialist is responsible for provisioning, modifying, and removing user access to internal and client-facing applications based on approved requests and established procedures. This role focuses on accurate execution of access changes and coordination with IT Support and business teams. What This Role Is This role is responsible for managing employee access across multiple internal and client systems in a high volume environment with heavy emphasis on business access coordination, documentation, and process improvement. They will execute access requests based on documented processes and required approvals and will collaborate with cross-functional teams to support efficient user access. What This Role Is NOT This role is not traditional IT support, desktop support, sysadmin, developer, or server-focused. Technical depth is less important than access governance, coordination, and documentation experience and skills. Responsibilities
- Provision, modify, and deprovision user access for internal and client-facing applications.
- Process access requests via documented procedures and required approvals.
- Maintain detailed documentation for access requests, configurations, and approvals.
- Support onboarding and offboarding processes, coordinating systems access changes.
- Liaise between IT Support and business units regarding application access.
- Perform Tier 1/Tier 2 helpdesk support when not engaged in access provisioning activities.
- Perform other duties assigned based on departmental and business needs. Qualifications
- Associate or bachelor's degree in information technology or related field.
- 2-4 years of experience in Identity & Access Management.
- Institutional banking, financial services, or enterprise environment preferred.
- High-volume on/offboarding, role changes, permissions/access request experience.
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and communication skills.
- Availability to work Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.
- May require evening and weekend work in response to business needs.
- Ability to work remotely with limited travel as required.
