Job Description
IT Technician Ryan Family Dealerships The IT Technician will be responsible for assisting in maintenance of Ryan Family Dealerships (RFD) computer systems and other technologies within our business setting. The duties include responding to Help Desk tickets from company employees, triaging these issues and bringing swift and complete resolution to the problem. Assisting in managing IT assets and inventory for all six facilities within the organization, including installation, maintenance, and assistance with equipment, software, and technical issues.
REQUIREMENT FOR POSITION
A working knowledge of computers, printers, networks, and servers is required H igh school diploma or
GED AT THE MINIMUM 1
to 2 years of experience related to the duties and responsibilities specified. (A college degree can be substituted for years of experience.) Candidates for this position should be mature, self-starting, and highly motivated. Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking skills Good organization, time management and prioritization skills

JOB DESCRIPTION
Performs basic problem solving and assistance on various software applications and hardware systems for the dealership. Performs routine technical assistance and maintenance duties. Monitor and respond quickly and effectively to requests received through the dealership's help desk. Provide technical support in response to phone calls, direct requests, ticket requests, and e-mails. Including directing the issue to the appropriate staff for help if needed. Follow-up and update status and information pertaining to help desk tickets. Provide individual instruction and/or training to users on new or updated technologies. Assist with managing inventory of equipment and materials; perform data entry and maintenance of records such as, but not limited to, project documents, user instructions, general reports and/or systems errors. Continually educate yourself with respect to technology, equipment, applicable laws, regulations, standards and/or systems Some travel between sites is required Perform other duties as assigned.
