Position Overview The Equipment Solutions Manager is responsible for overseeing the Equipment Management Solutions process, including Condition Monitoring, Customer Support Agreements and VisionLink. The Equipment Solutions Manager will oversee the delivery of our Customer Support Agreement commitments and ensure on-time delivery of these services. Responsible for the oversight of the connected assets, and for implementing the processes for taking VisionLink to the marketplace. PRIMARY JOB DUTIES
•: Responsible for developing NMC CAT's Condition Monitoring program that will monitor and evaluate customer equipment health utilizing various technologies allowing for early detection of defects providing NMC CAT customers the time needed to plan, schedule, and correct issues in a proactive manner and reducing emergency maintenance or unplanned downtime. Oversees VisionLink administration and works collaboratively with Sales and Service Operations to develop strategy for hardware installs, software usage, and development of sustainable customer programs to promote the number of connected assets as well as the percent of active customers. Manages the NMC CAT's preventative maintenance (PM) program administration and ensures service contracts are managed. Determines price and terms for new and renewal contracts. Works with Service Dispatch to ensure delivery of services are completed on-time. Determines needs for on-site and classroom training for customers and support personnel. Works with both talent development, and individuals within Service Operations, to deliver any required training. Communicates and coordinates with the Product Support and Sales Management team to improve CSA (Customer Support Agreement) growth. Researches, analyzes and evaluates complex condition monitoring data (e.g. SOS, fault code, inspections, electronic data, site, conditions, equipment history, and other machine data) and determines if a Condition Monitoring Alert (CMA) action is needed. Provides technically sound equipment/operation-based solutions and recommendations to internal and external customers ensuring critical equipment health visibility is achieved.
