Job Description:
Tier 2 Desktop Support Engineer New York City, NY (4 days onsite) We're partnered with a highly respected mid sized hedge fund in New York City that is looking to add a strong Tier 2 Desktop Support Engineer to their team. This is a high visibility role supporting a fast paced, professional user base that includes executives, traders, and business teams across the firm. They're looking for someone who is technically sharp, polished, proactive, and genuinely enjoys helping people. Culture fit matters here just as much as technical ability. Strong communication skills, professionalism, and personality are critical. What You'll Be Doing Provide Tier 2 desktop and end user support across both MacOS and Windows environments Support executives and VIP users with white glove service Troubleshoot hardware, software, conference room, mobile, and connectivity issues Manage and support endpoint administration through JAMF and Intune Handle onboarding/offboarding, laptop builds, deployments, and user provisioning Support Microsoft 365, collaboration tools, printers, peripherals, and office technology Work closely with infrastructure, security, and engineering teams on escalations and projects Help improve support processes, documentation, and overall user experience What They're Looking For Strong experience supporting both Mac and Windows environments Hands-on experience with JAMF and Microsoft Intune Experience providing executive/VIP support in a professional environment Excellent troubleshooting and communication skills Strong customer service mindset with a calm, polished approach Ability to operate independently and own issues through resolution Experience in financial services, hedge fund, law firm, or similarly fast paced environments is a plus
