preferred The IT Operations Manager is a hands-on leader responsible for driving seamless integration with parent company systems, networks, and standards while ensuring reliable, scalable IT operations across manufacturing plants, warehouses, and corporate offices. This role partners closely with the VP of IT to strengthen execution, minimize disruption, and align local IT capabilities with broader parent company infrastructure and governance.
Key Responsibilities:
Integration & Alignment (Primary Focus) Lead and coordinate IT integration efforts with parent company, including networks, systems, tools, and governance requirements Act as the primary liaison between companies' teams to ensure smooth adoption of standards, platforms, and policies Manage network integration, system connectivity, and data flow between organizations with minimal business disruption Balance standardization with local operational needs to maintain speed, flexibility, and uptime Identify and resolve integration challenges related to security, access, infrastructure, and application compatibility IT Operations & Service Delivery Oversee daily IT operations, service delivery, and incident management across multiple sites Improve ticketing processes, SLAs, and user support responsiveness Act as escalation point, coordinating internal teams, vendors, and MSPs Infrastructure, Plant & OT Integration Support plant expansions, equipment installs, and IT/OT integration readiness (networking, connectivity, security) Ensure infrastructure is aligned with both operational requirements and parent company standards Partner with Operations, Engineering, and Facilities on technology integration during plant changes Business Continuity & Risk Management Lead business continuity and disaster recovery planning, ensuring alignment with parent company expectations where applicable Reduce operational risk through improved documentation, redundancy, and coverage Enterprise Applications & Vendors Support enterprise applications (including Microsoft Dynamics 365) with a focus on integration and coordination Manage MSPs and vendors to meet SLAs for uptime, support, and recovery Standardization & Enablement Drive harmonization of IT practices across plants while aligning with parent company frameworks Promote training, best practices, and adoption of modern tools
Focus:
This role is ideal for a hands-on IT operations leader (no direct reports) with strong integration experience, capable of navigating enterprise-level alignment with parent company while maintaining high-performance IT operations in a manufacturing environment.
